Acolytes
Acolytes assist the clergy in the conduct of public worship.

Lectors
& Chalice Bearers
Lectors & Chalice Bearers read the Lessons and the Prayers of the
People. They also assist in the distribution of communion during services.

Oblation
Bearers
Oblation Bearers deliver Bread and Wine from the Oblation table to the
High Altar for Consecration to provide the Eucharist Feast.

Lay
Eucharist Ministers
Lay Eucharist Ministers deliver the Holy Eucharist to those who are sick
or cannot travel to the church.

St.
Cecilia Adult Choir
St. Cecilia choir takes part in the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services every
Sunday from September to June. Rehearsals are 7:30 Thursday evenings.

Martha's Altar Guild
Sets up the altar for worship services, including weddings and funerals.

Hospitality

Ushers
Arrive 15 minutes before service to pass out programs and greet people.
Assist anyone requiring special help or anyone who has questions. Take
up the offering and direct people to communion. After the service Ushers
count the offering, clean the pews and make the church ready for the next
service.

Housekeeping
Tidies up the pew racks and puts out special materials on Saturday mornings.

Prayer
for Healing
Prayer for Healing is offered on Sunday mornings at the 7:45 a.m., 9:00
a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. If you want individual prayer for healing,
simply go into the Bishop Lewis Chapel after receiving communion where
one or more trained Lay Persons will be waiting to pray with you. After
the prayer return to your seat in the church for the remainder of the
service.
