Our congregation was formed in the Hall of Justice in 1873. Trinity was originally located at the corner of Sierra and 2nd Streets in Reno.

Parish Historical Photos
Worship began in the crypt (basement) around 1929. It was common in the day to build in this manner: excavate and worship in the basement until finances allowed to raise the church above. Worshippers affectionately called the crypt "The Potato Cellar".

The altar. Notice the carvings on the altar depicting the symbols of the four gospels. These carvings are now above the altar in the Bishop Lewis Chapel.
